Outdoor Wedding The Diva Challenge

Outdoor Wedding The Diva Challenge
It's the final chapter on the Diva Challenge, it's been a wonderful way to create various looks for an entire week. The last theme being Wedding I have chosen a very simple and elegant styling.

An outdoor or backyard wedding spells the choice of having a glorious backdrop, cocktails on a lawn, plenty of gorgeous clicks, and many fond memories with family and close ones. An embellished short wedding dress keeps in with the tradition as well as appears graceful during the outdoor ceremony. A bohemian, vintage-inspired ensemble looks perfect for the occasion.

Top 7 Tracks on My Fitness Playlist

Image: Lovedose.com
How many of you love to groove during a power workout? I love to dance and I feel dancing is the best way to stay fit. An energized track can turn up the tempo on the fitness floor and make one enjoy the regime instead of just taking it as a routine. Shed those extra inches and get into tip-top swimsuit shape with my 7 pulse-pounding music playlist

1. Shakira - Empire Remix

Shakira is the queen of sexy dancing and this track sure makes you want to move your hips and belly!

2. Bad Blood - Taylor Swift

If you need some kick-ass inspiration to look like the femme fatale's of this video then this track gives the crazy guns inspiration.

3. Fast and the Furious Sound Track

Getting toned to the pulsating tracks of this hard core action movie inspires you to look leaner and meaner.

4. Waiting for Tonight - JLo

JLo's assests are timeless and dancing on her rhythm brings blood on the fitness floor.

 5. Work Bitch - Britney Spears

I think Britney spells out what everyone wants in this world - a bikini bod, chauffeured driven limousine, partying around the world, and being famous. The price of which is Work Bitch!

6. Blow - Kesha

Kesha blows up with her voice and optimistic music and this upbeat track gets one grooving instantly.

7. Monster Mix - Lady Gaga

Mother Monster gets me reeling to her beats and does not let my feet stop even for a minute while I workout.

Hope my playlist packs in some motivating punch to achieve a balance on the scales and stay fit and healthy.

Zombie Bride Halloween Party - The Diva Challenge

Zombie Bride Halloween Party - The Diva Challenge

Zombie Bride Halloween Party - The Diva Challenge by beautiliciousfreaks featuring halloween home decor

It's Halloween on the Diva Challenge and what better way to celebrate dress up by being a Zombie Bride!
Zombies are all the rage these days and to be able to stand out amongst the different costumes during Halloween dressing up like a corpse bride gives a whole new edge albeit with a little blood on the wedding dress. Embrace the scary side by wearing the Zombie Bride Costume and look every part glamorous as well as totally haunting.

Some Handy Tips on Makeup:
Do not use your regular concealer or foundation application, make full-on advantage of your undereye circles. Be sure to use white makeup that is specifically designed for the face to avoid break out after hours of wear.
Contour your cheekbones and sides of your forehead using a charcoal grey eyeshadow or cream paint.
A raspberry/plum-color shadow, like Tarte Cosmetics Soft Sienna, and a tapered blending brush, creates a weary look.
Apply the same shadow to the upper inner crease creating a full C shape at the inner corners of the eyes and then brush gently over the lid.
Create a triangle shape with the front of your brow being the top corner of the triangle to easily apply the shadow.
Fully contour your cheeks and forehead using the same eyeshadow.
Cover lips extensively with white cream paint using a sponge, to add drama and gore paint a skeleton smile.

Its Summer and all you can think about is Sun, Cocktail, Good Music, Friends, and dancing with the wind as you party on the deck top. Apart from the sexy black bikini (which looks sexy if u plan to work on your tan) I have teamed the look with a vintage lace caftan to cool in the summer heat. The floppy hat and the Christian Dior glasses are perfect suncare accessories. Completing the stylish look are a pair of ELLIZA DONATEIN Womens Yellow Toned Ballerina's which add to the glamour and persona.

Movie Date - The Diva Challenge Day 3

Movie Date - The Diva Challenge

The first date went successfully and tonight being excited for the second date which happens to be a Movie Date on the Diva Challenge. Movie dates are meant to be fun and flirtatious at the same time instead of choosing a tear-jerking romantic movie I preferred Dirty Dancing! For this particular enjoyable soirée I chose a sexy, peppy, flirty style! The ensemble is breezy, chic, and young just like the cast of the movie, the accessories complementing the visuals and the make-up subtle like the dance moves. I'm sure your date would get smitten with this bodacious enticing vogue.

Enjoy some delicious chocolate popcorn and comment on my inspirational style!

The Diva Challenge - Part 1

Me and some of my fashionista friends decided to play digital dress-up this whole week and came upon THE DIVA CHALLENGE. Inspired by the influencing fashion platform of POLYVORE we decided to have a range of themes everyday. The fun of creating new outfit ideas for the whole week has been on a feverish pitch, so far I have covered two themes.
The first being the 'FIRST DATE' outfit inspiration, while creating this specific look I imagined myself in a countryside fairy tale setting. Surrounded by beautiful mountain, wine, and sunny countryside. The short Choies Light Blue Faux Pearl Collar Retro Embroidery Floral Skater dress complements the sleek hair and light makeup. Teamed with a pair of elegant CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN, 'ZIRCONE GOLD' TOTE, Swarovski Attract Pearl Pierced Earrings, and Alexis Bittar Rose Golden Barbed Crystal Cuff Bracelet. The First Date.

The second outfit inspiration followed the theme JOB INTERVIEW, for this particular look I thought of a corporate chic setting and styled a simple glamorous organization ensemble. A Weise Bronze / Glossy Plus Size Pleated formal top, Joseph Gabardine Stretch Queen Trouser in PEARL, and Selected Feminine - Blazer. A pair of Christian Louboutin Suede So Kate Pumps and Structured Top Handle Handbag completed the attire. With minimal make-up and jewelery the corporate diva is ready to grab the job! The Interview Style

I'm having fun creating these different looks waiting for more themes to go! One can refer to the events page on Facebook to view the other contestants outfits The Diva Challenge.

We need #Curvy back on Instagram for Fashion Addicts!

Well since the photo sharing giant Instagram has come up with the #curvy ban I have been wondering is it even necessary. I'm a plus size princess and flaunting my curves is something that I'm proud of ! A survey by OkTrends indicates that girls who find themselves "curvy" are happiest about their sexuality, it has also been projected that women prefer to choose ''curvy'' as body type on dating sites like OKCupid. So why ban the #curvy tag on Instagram then?

#Curvy is a body type and it does not always indicate inappropriate pictures or nudity hence the ban denies the right of positive self-expression by beautiful curvy women who wish to inspire the fashion scene with their #ootd's and chic confidence.

Delivering her views on the Curvy Ban with Business Insider, Fashion Blogger Sarah Chiwaya of Curvily says that "The idea that all bodies are beautiful and worthy of respect is starting to take hold in a way it never has before and a big reason for that is the increased representation of different body types on social media. For Instagram to stomp all over one of the most popular hashtags for women above model size is incredibly disappointing."

Staying updated on Instagram might just be a daily trend for some, but for "curvy" divas it’s a movement and so we need to get the #curvy right back on!
